Our in-house staff of over 100 professionals spans project management, quality assurance, client services, technology, and operations across 10 offices on four continents. Beyond our core team, we manage a rigorously vetted network of 5,000+ freelance translators, editors, and proofreaders — each a native speaker with verified academic credentials and a minimum of five years’ professional experience in their specialist domain. Together, this combination of in-house expertise and distributed talent allows us to handle projects of any size, in any language pair, with consistent quality and predictable turnaround times.
Every linguist in our network undergoes a multi-stage vetting process: CV review, qualification verification, a timed translation test assessed by two independent reviewers, and a probationary period of supervised projects before they gain full accreditation. Fewer than 8% of applicants pass all stages — a selectivity rate that ensures our clients receive only the highest calibre of work. Once accredited, translators receive ongoing performance monitoring, annual re-certification assessments, and access to our proprietary terminology management platform to maintain consistency across long-term accounts.

Daniel Hargreaves Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Former head of language services at a FTSE 100 financial institution. Daniel founded Talkbridge in 2009 with a vision to bring enterprise-grade translation quality to organisations of every size. He holds an MA in Applied Linguistics from the University of Edinburgh and has spent 20+ years in the language industry. Under his leadership, Talkbridge has grown from a three-person London startup to a global operation spanning 10 countries.
Elena Vassileva Chief Operations Officer
Elena oversees global operations across all 10 Talkbridge offices, managing a team of 40+ project managers and operations staff. Previously Director of Operations at a leading European LSP, she brings 15 years of experience in scaling multilingual workflows for enterprise clients. Elena holds an MBA from INSEAD and is a certified PMP professional. She designed the distributed operations model that enables Talkbridge to offer true 24/7 project coverage.
